The Children's Program

2/7/2018

the children's program last November 2017 was again a success for we have reached some more new members from farther neighborhoods, mostly children of  farmers in the town of Victoria, tarlac.. this time we had a guest from the us, gladys guzman, first cousin of mila. she also gave some gifts to the children. her presence was very much appreciated by everybody.

ketsana's focus on establishing relationship with  children is of vital importance; it is an investment that will keep ketsana
alive in the coming decades. to win the hearts and memories of these children  means counting on their support in the near future. many of these children  knew about ketsana a few years back, when they were just very tiny. so, ketsana is already a part of their life. the regularity of the children's program gives them a little hope, a little joy of expectation.  Next year again! yes, every year, we meet with them and some of the parents. last year, we have made known  to them the change in our concept , that of building a ketsana center on the available grounds. they were enthusiastic about  having a center where they could meet regularly several times a year. for there will be projects for them which shall focus on self-reliance and turning them more productive. when we left, the construction  of  an extension hall was started. this hall  is connected  to the existing  farmhouse already  which  is very familiar to most of them. in this way we put into action the concept of synergy, which  is making more out of less.

Until next year again.
